Trainable Adaptable Multimedia Presentation Generation∗

Traditional Multimedia Presentation Planning Systems (MMPS) use handwritten presentation planning operators, which limits their flexibility. In this paper we describe a new data-driven approach to multimedia presentation planning. We show how this approach can be used to acquire presentation planning operators and to adapt them to users’ presentation preferences. We will demo adapted and nonadapted versions of our presentation planner/generator and our procedures for collecting human feedback about presentations.
